From the nether reaches of time to the present day, we marvel at human ingenuity and creativity, at the capacity to make culture. Simultaneously, we marvel at the massive stupidity of leaders and followers in making war the ultimate answer to all questions of trade, sovereignty, religion, natural resources and borders. By showing in a scant three-plus minutes an abbreviated sweep of human inventiveness played out, finall,y against the endless ghosts of universal soldiers, the film seeks to show the futility of war.
