The title character of The Ugly Bowl is the homemade product of an elementary art class. It is too precious and well intended to throw away, but too ugly to be useful. In fact, this bowl is so ugly that objects reject it as a possible storage location. After a series of these disappointing rejections, the bowl goes on a quest to find the fulfillment so lacking in its existence.
